This one day workshop will introduce you to the basic principles of screen printing. We will be making stencils and exposing pre coated screens to develop your image. We will print with water based inks onto various papers.
You'll leave with a clear understanding of how to design, develop and print a screen.
All tools and materials are provided. Wear work clothes and your sketchbook or images you'd like to work with. If you don’t have your own images, some pre made transparencies are available at the shop for you to experiment with.
Runaway Press is located at 205 Grand Avenue. Our Storefront is on the alley and faces the Courthouse and Post Office. There is ample metered street parking during the weekend. Weekdays after 5 and Weekends, parking is free on the street. Please note that the shop shares a building with practice and performing spaces for musicians. Musicians are typically practicing during the hours for this class, which can cause disruptions for those with hearing issues or noise sensitivity.
