The second in a series, the sugar lift workshop teaches you everything about how to prepare your plates, make the lift ground and then etch to produce everything from the typical calligraphic imagery associated with lift ground to subtler drawing techniques as well as broader etched areas on any type of plate. All supplies are provided for you to make a series of test plates. 

Registration for this workshop includes one free open studio day during the month of August. 

Previous experience in intaglio techniques is not required. Experienced and beginning printmakers will benefit from this workshop.
